A hat-trick by James Treanor saw Seán McDermotts stun league leaders Doohamlet in Threemilehouse, moving them level with Corduff in the battle to avoid relegation. The other game produced arguably an even bigger upset, with Toome, who had been well beaten at home to Tyholland earlier in the year, taking a one-point from the north-Monaghan men to keep their survival hopes alive.
