Championship: Doohamlet 2-16 Rockcorry 1-05
Power, pace, excellent scores and strong tackling all these qualities were on show last Sunday as Doohamlet totally over powered Rockcorry in this Championship quarter final. From 1 to 15 every player was on top of his game and dominated their opposite number.
Great credit to Davy McGregor and management for having the team in such excellent shape and we now must prepare for a semi-final in the coming weeks. (See match report)
Intermediate League: Doohamlet now return to league action with an away fixture last night against Seans and are at home to Aughnamullen next Sunday with an unusual 5.30 pm throwin. This fixture may have a change of time.
Reserves: Our Reserves play Cremartin next Wednesday evening 29th away with a 7pm throwin. This will complete the league fixtures with Doohamlet already qualified for semi final.
Minors: Our young Minor team put in a very creditable performance last week going down by a single point away to Corduff in the Minor Championship.

Come Dine With Me Dates for your Diaries:
Doohamlet GFC are getting geared up for our 1st ever Come Dine With Me event, so all you wanna be Gordon Ramsay’s & Jamie Oliver’s get your chefs hats on and get thinking of some meal ideas. We will shortly be approaching people to be our “host houses” or if you want to volunteer to be one just get in touch at 085-7817366. the idea is you will invite 8/10 guests to your home for a meal and later in the evening everyone meets at a central location to hear the results and dance the night away. Watch this space for more details re what’s involved, costs/entertainment etc. closer to the time. Proposed dates are SAT 17TH OR 24TH NOV.
Lucozade Sport: With only 2 weeks left of this competition please keep collecting Lucozade lids for the Club Crusade. All lids to be with Bernie O’ Neill on or before Monday 3rd Sept.
Club Meeting: This evening in Clubrooms at 8.30pm. All members are asked to attend.
