CREMARTIN CLUB NOTES 23.08.12
Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday 19th August. Numbers Drawn were: 1-4-9-27. Lucky Dip Winners: Oisin Duffy, Annyalla, The Mooney Family, Drumgriston, Mickey McGuigan, Cremartin, Mamie McVicar and Fred Prunty, Croghan. The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in the Social Club on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

IFC Cremartin v Tyholland
We were narrowly defeated by Tyholland last Saturday evening in the Intermediate Championship on a scoreline of Cremartin 2-11 Tyholland 2-13. See Match Report. Team and scores: Damien Lavelle; Fergal Mulligan, Niall Flanagan, Conor Mulligan; Jonathan McGuigan, Declan Farrell, Kevin Atkinson; Mark Magee, Gary Boyd (Capt.); Christopher Farrell, Patrick McGuigan, Declan Mulligan; Kevin Brennan (2-1), Darren Bishop (0-6, 3f), Barry Carragher (0-4, 3f). Subs Used: Shaun Buckley for Declan Mulligan, Shane Burke for Christopher Farrell and Ryan McVicar for Fergal Mulligan.
U-12s:
Well done to our U-12s on getting to the league final after a hard fought win against Tyholland on Saturday. A big thank you to Ciaran and the McVicar family for the refreshments for the children after the match.
PADDY MC VICAR MEMORIAL GOLF CLASSIC
The Paddy McVicar Memorial Golf Classic took place last Friday in Concra Wood Golf Club and was a resounding success. Presentations and music by Paddy King followed that night in Cremartin GAA Club where we danced the night away. On behalf of Cremartin GAA Club and the Irish Heart Foundation we would like to thank all at Concra Wood Golf Club, all of our Sponsors and those who made donations, and of course all of our Teams. A special word of thanks to Eileen, Liam, Ryan and all of the McVicar Family. A big thank you to the Organising Committee who made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day and to all those who helped out that night and behind the scenes. All your hard work and effort is greatly appreciated and made the entire day a huge success for this very worth cause. Go raibh math agaibh go leir.
