Senior League
Clontibret 2-12, Ballybay 1-11. We got off to a shaky start, conceding a goal in the first five minutes, however we played solidly as a team in the second half and put away two goals which saw us over the line. Team and scorers: Arthur Morgan, Colin Duffy, Colum Greenan, Martin Corey 0-1, Darach Mooney 0-1, Paul McGuigan, Conor Boyle, Eoin Greenan, Dessie Mone, Rodney Gorman, Vinnie Corey, Pauric Boyle 0-1, Fergal Mone, Conor McManus 0-7, Ryan McGuigan 2-1. Subs: Noel Morgan 0-1.
Clontibret 0-14, ‘Blayney 3-11. This game was close throughout until ‘Blayney fired in two goals in a five-minute spell late in the second half which effectively killed the contest. Sub: Noel Morgan 0-1.
There will be a closed period now with the next senior match scheduled for Sunday, 11th August away to Latton at 2pm.
Reserve League
The next Reserve match is away to ‘Blayney on Wednesday, 15th August at 7.30pm. Another away match against Magheracloone has yet to be fixed.
U16 League
We have qualified for the semi-final which will be played after the closed period.
U14 League
Division 1: Our next game will be on Saturday, 11th August away to Donaghmoyne at 12pm.
Division 6: Our next game will be away to Carrick on Saturday, 11th August at 12pm.
U12
We have qualified for the shield final which has not yet been fixed.
U10
U10 training continues on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. All are welcome to come along.
Under 8s & Nursery
Under 8s and u6 nursery continues on Friday evenings at 6:30pm sharp. All boys and girls welcome.
Recreational Football
Our recreation team had our first outing last Saturday in the Scotstown tournament and we came out on top with 3 wins out of 3 games. We had some great performance from Liam Ward, Gerry Todd and David Ward in the backs. Jimmy McArdle and Marty Finnegan played well making their debuts in the forward line and taking some fine scores. We are out again in the final on Saturday 4th August at 7pm in Scotstown. All support welcome.
Double Header
Thanks to all those who helped out at the double header of championship fixtures at O’Neill Park last Saturday evening, especially John, Damien, Tom, Arthur, Jimmy, Robert, Karen and Scarlet.

Senior Hurling League
Clontibret 3-14 Truagh 4-07
We collected another two league points with a hard earned win over Truagh. Best performances on the night from Shane Mc Nally, Conor Boyle and Gareth Brennan. Our next fixture is the Shield Final v Truagh on Sun 12th Aug.
The County minors came 2nd in a 4 team blitz in Cloghan last Saturday. Fingal proved to strong, although we beat Tyrone and Louth. Well done to Raymond Mc Nally, Gareth Brennan, Kevin Duffy, Liam Savage, Shane Mooney and Aodh Curran who gave an outstanding display on the day.
