Carrick Emmets “Young Stars” GAA Summer camp is taking place in Emmet Park this week.  Over 100 children are enjoying the fun and games. There is Football, hurling, handball and plenty of fun and games. A Big BBQ party will take place on Friday with a magician. 

The final of the Brendan Rooney Memorial Cup will took place last Sunday at Emmet Park.  Crossmaglen Rangers met Cooley Kickams. Crossmaglen won comforatably.  The cup was presented by Brendan Rooneys son.  Toal Auctioneers of O’Neill Street in Carrickmacross sponsored Man of the Match.
