U10 Blitz , Truagh, Saturday 28th July

Carrick Emmets participated along with 22 other clubs from Monaghan,Cavan, Armagh and Tyrone.
We were runners up in the semi final of the shield competition eventually beaten by the winners Ramor GFC from Cavan.
We played 5 games and met the two best teams that reached the final in the cup and shield competition respectively.
Our last game in the group stage we met Ramor and a heroic performance from our boys lead to victory against Ramor,who eventually won the Shield competition.

Carrick Emmets “Young Stars” GAA Summer camp Carrick Emmets “Young Stars” GAA Summer camp will take place from Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th of August this year in Emmet Park. 10.30am to 2pm. Football, hurling, handball and plenty of fun and games. Big BBQ party on the last day of camp with magician. All boys and girls 5 to 13 years welcome. Brendan Rooney Memorial Cup Final

The final of the Brendan Rooney Memorial Cup will take place this Sunday 5th August @ 7.30pm at Emmet Park. Crossmaglen Rangers take on Cooley Kickams in whats promised to be an entertaining final. Toal Auctioneers of O’Neill Street in Carrickmacross is sponsoring Man of the Match. Please support.
