Junior Bs: Played Excellent football on thursday night last. They played Emyvale Away in the semi final of the league. This team showed great commitment from Keith Sheridan in goals to the full forward line of David Shevlin, Brendan Finnegan and Colin Clerkin. At the end of normal time the sides where level Aughnamullen 1-6 Emyvale 0-9. Extra time was then played and Aughnamullen continued to fight hard in order to secure a place in the final, however Emyvale kept on Aughanmullens toes and after extra time the sides where level once again on a scoreline of Aughnamullen 1-8 Emyvale 0-11. Aughnamullen now plays Emyvale in a replay on Saturday the 8th of September at 4pm.

 Great leadership was shown from two men who dominated Aughnamullens Midfield Mark Meegan and Thomas Hughes showed great commitment and leadership which gelled the team together.Great performances where also displayed by Mark Mc Ardle as half back usually he plays forwards.

Seniors: Played Doohamlet on Saturday evening last and where defeated by3 ints on a scoreline of Aughnamullen 1-8 Doohamlet 1-11. Aughnamullen fought hard from beginning to end but failed to secure a win. They now play corduff on Saturday evening in corduff at 4 30pm all support welcome.
