We play Killeevan in the semi-final this Saturday August 18th at 12.00pm in Aghabog. Please note that only players & officials will have access to the pitch. We encourage everyone to come along & support this talented group of children & their mentors.

 

Under 16

Our Under 16 combination Rock Emmetts have also qualified for the Semi Final of

their competition and will play Killeevan on Thursday 16^th August in Killeevan. Check official fixtures for time. Please come along and support.

 

LADIES NOTES

 

Championship Aghabog 1-11 Magheracloone 2-12:

The girls lost out on their first Intermediate Championship title last Friday night to an experienced Magheracloone side. Played in a sporting manner, Magheracloone were first to strike going 2 points up before Aghabog settled into the game. With the Aghabog back line playing well and controlling the many threats from Magheracloone, the forward line kicked into action and produced some good scores. At half time, Magheracloone, playing with a strong breeze, were up by 2 points. Aghabog started the better in the second half and took a 4 point lead, controlling most positions on the field but the experienced Magheracloone side soon found their form and fought back to take the lead, which they held on to until the final whistle.

The girls will now regroup and concentrate on the league.

 

U12 & U14 training: Training continues on Friday at 6.30. All players please attend. Our U/14 championship game against Truagh was cancelled due to an unplayable pitch. Management will be in contact regarding next fixtures times and dates.
