A huge thank you to all the counties who helped promote our ‘Nothing beats being there’ competition last Friday and with another busy GAA weekend ahead we are keen to promote it once again.

The lucky winner is being offered the chance to fly a friend or family member home from abroad and bring them to the Football or Hurling All-Ireland final. The winning duo will also be given two nights accommodation in the Croke Park Hotel.

As weekends are naturally the busiest time for most GAA websites I would again ask all our counties to remind their supporters of this competition by re-uploading a news story and an image attached to this email to their website.

Mentioning it on Facebook and Twitter would also be hugely beneficial for your own page as the competition tends to build up ‘likes’ and ‘retweets’.

The competition is open until Sunday, August 19 and any help you can give us in promoting it over the next few weeks would be greatly appreciated.
