U-21

Our u-21 team played Truagh in Latton on Tuesday evening the 17th in the semi-final of the league, played in wet & slippy conditions both teams found scores hard to get. Playing against the wind in the first half Latton worked hard and despite kicking seven wide’s went in at the break leading 6pts to 4pts. Truagh hit two points early in the second half to draw level and when Latton had R, Conlon sent off on a second yellow card they struggled against a Truagh team who used the ball well. Losing by 3pts with five minutes remaining Latton made the Truagh defence work very hard to hold out for a one point win. Latton 0-10 Truagh 0-11. Team and scorers: C Brady, K Farrelly, S Mc Guinness, J,Nixon, K Lynch. K, Duffy. O, Hillis. S, Mc Elory .C Rice. R, Conlon 1pt. T, Connolly 3pts. M, Duffy 2pts. S, Coyle 3pts, D Duffy 1pt. O, Coyle.
