Tyholland had a surprisingly easy win over Aughnamullen in their McGuigan Builders Intermediate Football Championship first-round match at Toome on Sunday. First-half goals by Raymond Ronaghan and Paul Coyle had Tyholland 2-7 to 0-1 clear and although Lee Conlan found the net for Aughnamullen, they never threatened a meaningful comeback. Tyholland had ten points to spare in the end on a scoreline of 2-13 to 1-6.
