Corduff Notes
Ulster Championship: If anyone would like to order tickets for the Ulster Championship minor and senior Final, With the minor final involving Monaghan please contact Padraig Duffy on 0872228140 before tonight Thursday at 8pm. Family Tickets are available. Orders cannot be taken after 8pm on Thursday
Good Luck: To Monaghan Ladies and especially Corduff’s representatives in the Ulster Final against Donegal this Sunday. Good Luck to all concerned.
Intermediate Football Championship: We were defeated by Rockcorry last Saturday evening. See report next week.
Mc Guigan Intermediate Championship: We have been drawn against Neighbours Donaghmoyne in the back door of the Championship.
Thank You: To everyone who helped out last Sunday in Corduff especially to Padraig Duffy who organised everything. Also a big thank you to all our stewards who helped with car parking, getting the pitch ready, making tea, Seamus Conlon for the PA system and Lisa Russell for singing the National Anthem.
Intermediate Football League: Our next game is on Saturday the 21st when we travel to Inniskeen with a 7pm throw in.
Reserve Football League : We take on Carrickmacross on Saturday the 14th at home with a 7pm throw in. Then on the 18th we travel to Doohamlet with a 7 45 throw in. Our next game is on the 15th of August when we travel to Donaghmoyne for our final game of the league.
Minor Football League; Our minors took on Blackhill last Tuesday evening in the semi final of the league. When we visited Blackhill in the league the home side came out victorious. We got off to a great start and hit the back of the net early on leaving the score at 1-04 to 2 points after 20 minutes. We led at half time on a score of 1-09 to 5pt. The team had played really well and worked hard for each other. With 15 minutes left we were leading by 5 point but this was reduced to 3 with 7 minutes left but again our player determination and passion for their jersey came through and went on to finish the half strong and book there place in the final where we meet St. Pats a combination of Ballybay and Drumhowan. A date has not been set yet as depends on Monaghan Minor involvement in the Championship.
Under 16 League: After a great team performance last Thursday we defeated Inniskeen at home. Our side showed real attacking power and this showed by a scoreline of Corduff 4-18 to Inniskeen 4-06. This Thursday we travel to Scotstown for a 645 throw in.
Under 14 League: This Saturday we take on Killanny away .
Under 12 League :We defeated Fergal O Hanlons last Saturday. Our final game of the season is against Cremartin at home on the 21st July .
Our u6,u8,u10 Training continues as normal, if there is anyone who would still like to attend all are welcome.
