Carrick Emmets “Young Stars” GAA Summer camp will take place from Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th of August this year in Emmet Park.  10.30am to 2pm.  Football, hurling, handball and plenty of fun and games.  Big BBQ party on the last day of camp with magician.  All boys and girls 5 to 13 years welcome.  Forms available from Birdys newsagents Carrickmacross.  Price 35euro 1st child 25euro 2nd and subsequent children.

Our Senior team met Clontibret at Emmet Park last Saturday 21st July. Final score Carrick 3-8 to Clontibret 0-17.

Carrick take on Scotstown on Wednesday 25th July @ 7.45PM at Pairc Mhuire.  Please come and give your support.

Brendan Rooney Memorial Tournament

All Ireland Club Champions Crossmaglen met Walterstown Co Meath in the semi final of the Brendan Rooney Memorial tournament in what was an exciting game at Emmet Park, last Thursday evening. Crossmaglen won by 3 points.  They will go on to play Cooley Kickhams in the final.

As we know Strictly come dancing was a huge success for the club last year but we never knew just how successful it could be when love blossomed between two of our dancers Declan King and Teresa Carragher.  Congratulations to you both from all the club on your recent engagement.

We would like to also congratulate Padraig Keenan and Fiona Patton who got engaged this week.
