Aghabog had a dramatic win over Killanny in their Universal Graphics Junior Football Championship losers’ group match in Oram on Sunday. The sides were neck and neck for most of the hour and Killanny looked set to edge the verdict in the closing stages, but Aghabog staged a strong finish to win it by 2-11 to 0-15. Earlier, Killeevan cruised through to the next round with a 6-32 to 1-2 hammering of Fergal O’Hanlons. 12 players got on the scoresheet for Killeevan, including goal-scorers Darren Quigley (two), Kevin McGinn, James McDermott, Kieran Reilly and Conor McDonnell.
