Monaghan 3 – 11 Tyrone 3 – 12

Monaghan U15 Development Squad played Tyrone in Clones on Saturday in a challenge. This game was very good and included some great passages of play by both teams. In goals Adam Counihan played the first half and had an excellent game. Shane Garland played in the second half and pulled off some great saves including a penalty. Andrew McPhillips , Stephen Kerr and Conor Duffy was solid through at full back with Conor Duffy having a super game. Barry Kerr marshalled the centre half back position extremely well with John Mulligan and Stephen Finnegan impressing. Niall keenan had a great game. His High fielding was a highlight of the game. Partnered with Niall was Eoin McQuaid who notched up an impressive 6 points. Cormac Duffy, Francis Hughes and Connor Marry lined out at half forward. Cormac Duffy’ work rate was another highlight of the game. Our Full forward line consisted of Eoin McKearney, James Mealiff and Alan Kierans. All three proved a threat for Tyrone throughout the game. James Mealiff was outstanding throughout.
