Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 28th June
Championship: We play this Friday night in the next round of the Universal Graphics Junior Championship against Oram in Cremartin at 8.00pm throw in.
Féile Peil Na nÓg 2012: Well done to all those who represented the club at this year’s feile weekend in Laois and Offaly. The club was hosted by Graiguecullen who proved excellent hosts. The club done very well however unfortunately lost in the Quarter Final by a point to the eventual winners. We did have success with Saoirse Treanor winning the Overall Skills Competition and the Emyvale U14 Girls winning Best Banner which was designed by Monica Liddle and Collette Deeney. Congratulations to all involved.
U21: Well done to our U21 team who got their campaign of to a great start beating a good Ballybay team last Wednesday night. Final Score Ballybay 1-12 Emyvale 3-08
They then built on a good win in the opening game by winning well against Finn Rua. Final Score Emyvale 4-18 Finn Rua 0-03. The lads play there next game away to local rivals Tyholland on Monday night at 8.00pm.
Minors: Well done to Ryan Mc Anespie, David Mc Allister, and Colin Hughes who all played their part in the county minor teams win over down. They now play in this year’s Minor Ulster final. Details on tickets to follow in next week’s notes.
Congratulations: To Enda and Dawn Clerkin on the birth of their baby Daniel Clerkin last week.

Tully GAA Summer Camp: Monday 13th to Friday 17th August from 9:30 to 2pm. Any boy or girls between the ages of 6 to 12 are welcome. 1 child = 25euro 2nd, child = additional 20euro, 3rd child = additional 15euro. All monies raised will go towards the running of the camp.
