. V- Scotstown On Wed evening the 25th in Scotstown Latton recorded their first win in the league. Played in wet and windy conditions the players worked hard and went in at half time winning by 8pts. Scotstown started the second half with some good scores but a second Bernard o’ Brien goal after a great run by Owne Coyle secured the win for Latton. We play Truagh at home on Friday evening in the o’Duffy cup at 7-15.
Minor league
We played Cremartin away on Tuesday evening, after a slow start Latton kicked some good scores to go in leading at half time. A great team performance in the second half saw Latton win well. Scores: D mc Elory, 2-5. M Duffy, 1-1. R conlon, 1-0. C Rice, 2pts. J mc Elory, 2pts. C Ltnch,1pt. D J mc Mahon, 1pt. S mc Cabe, 1pt. Latton 4-14 Cremartin 1-09 We play away to Donaghmoyne on 8th May and at home to seans on the 15th .

All-Ireland championship preview
On Saturday 12th May in the Gaa social club we will hold our preview night for the 2012 championship. Special guest include: Oisin mc Conville, Enda mc Ginley, Bryan Cullen, Darren Hughes, Seanie Johnston. Tickets from any committee member, or at the door on the night. Admission €15, Refreshments served. Photo opportunities from 8.00pm.

U-10 football
We played Aughnamullen away on Thursday last, on a bad night both teams played some great football. Latton played with the wind in the first half and kicked some great scores to lead by 8pts at half time. In the second half Aughnamullen used the wind to get back into the game but the Latton players worked hard and held on to win by 4pts. Team: T, C , Fitzpatrick. A, Duffy. C, Hughes. C, Lennon. V-clontibret On Sunday evening we played Clontibret at home in a very entertaining game of football, played in very windy conditions Clontibret kicked some great scores and were winning by 12pts at half time. Two goals early in the second half got latton back into the game and using the wind they kicked some nice points from play to win by 2pts. Latton 2-9 clontibret 1-10
Committee Meeting
A meeting of the Executive Committee will take place Thursday 10th May at 8.30pm.
U-12
Training on Tuesday evenings at 6-30. Finals day in Cloghan on 12th May.
Club membership
At the home game on Fri 11th May there will be an opportunity for anyone who has not already paid to pay there club membership. Club registrar Mickey Duffy will be available before and after the game receive your membership, new members welcome.
