DVD Competition:

Week 2 – The club history DVD will be launched on Saturday, May 12th and one lucky entrant will win the first copy by answering the most questions. We had the first two questions in last week’s club notes and we’ll have details on how to enter next week. This week’s questions are (1) Who was the Seans senior team captain of the double winning team in 1969? (2) Who was captain of 2010 Dr Ward Cup winning team?

Cultural Night:

Our 1st anniversary, Traditional Irish Music session took place last Friday in the complex. This was a terrific night’s entertainment. A huge thank you to all – our local talent, plus musicians from Scotstown, Clones, Monaghan, in addition to Corcaghan C.C.É. and Monaghan C.C.É musicians. A fantastic night was had. Thanks too, to Paula & Margot for providing such a feast !

So remember to keep the 2nd Friday free, next session takes place on Friday 11th May. We look forward to seeing you all there. Everyone welcome!

Céile Dancing Classes take place each Tuesday evening, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Edel, Michelle & Paula look forward to seeing all the regulars!

Membership:

Club membership is now due and payable to club registrar, Marie Mc Entee.

Bowls:

Bowls every Thursday night in complex at 8.30pm. New members of all ages welcome. Coaching and Bowls will be provided.

Votes of Sympathy:

CLG Sean Mac Diarmada would like to sympathise with the Kearns family, on the death of Molly Kearns. May she rest in peace.
