Lotto . The Lotto draw for the  week ending 16th April saw the following numbers being drawn…..6, 10, 20 and 22. The jackpot was not won and four players won fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip. The winners were Stevie Burns, Crumlin, Harry Hughes, c/o Hughes’ Bar, Carrickmacross, Seanie Kerley, Lisacarnan and Larry Fay, Drumconrath.

The next draw will be held on the 23rd April in the clubrooms.

Senior League.   The Senior League began on Wednesday of last week and will continue with at least one game per week over the next couple of weeks.

Magheracloone travelled to Latton for their first game of the League and came away with a share of the spoils on a score of 1-12 each. Indeed Magheracloone were leading until the final minutes and were unlucky not to come away with maximum points.

In Round Two Magheracloone welcomed Truagh on Sunday afternoon and claimed the two point on offer on a score of 0-14 to 1-9. This was a tight game played before a good crowd and the result was in doubt until a few late points from the home team.

The next outing is a visit to newcomers, Currin, on Sunday afternoon while Ballybay are the visitors on Wednesday of next week.

Reserves. The Reserve League continued with a game on Wednesday at home to Castleblayney. This team are hoping to build on their early performances and are confident of claiming a number of wins in the weeks ahead.

Minors.  In their second league game the minors travelled to Seans on Tuesday evening and were unlucky to lose by the narrowest of margins. The final score read 2-7 to 0-12. The next game is a home fixture versus Rock Sarsfields on Tuesday evening next with the throw-in timed for 7.15.

Score-board Sponsorship.  The opportunity is still there for an individual or a company to sponsor the score-board at the club grounds. Further information can be got from the club Treasurer, Jim McMahon, or indeed any executive member.
