Senior Football

The Reserve team played Truagh on Saturday evening. Final score: Truagh 0-06 Latton 0-10. Team: S.McKenna, K.Farrelly, J.Kingston, C.Lynch, C.McElroy, J.O’Brien, J.Nixon, P.Conlan, T.Connolly, C.Rice, D.Duffy, E.Lennon, P.Shannon, K.Conlan, R.Conlon. Sub: M.Duffy for P.Shannon.

Scorers: D.Duffy 4pts (2f), J.Nixon, T.Connolly, C.Rice, E.Lennon, K.Conlan, R.Conlon 1pt each.Next game is on wednesday 18th at home v Monaghan Harps at 7.15pm. Our senior team play Monaghan Harps on Sunday 15th in Monaghan and at home to Carrickmacross on Sunday 22th.

 

Committee Meeting

A meeting of the Executive Committee will take place on Monday 23rd of April at 9 o’clock

 

Bowls

Latton ladies Peggy Duffy & Bernie Smith were unlucky to be beaten by one shot after a tight end in the all-Ireland Final.

 

U-8 & U 10

Training on Saturday morning for all boys and girls 10 o’clock to 11 o’clock.  Any parents who are not getting text messages about training contact juvenile management.

 

U-12

The lads play Clontibret away on Saturday at 12 o’clock. Training on Tuesday evenings at 6 o’clock.

 

Minor league

We have a home game game on Tuesday evening against Truagh.

 

U 16

Training on Thursday evenings at 7 o’clock, our next game is at home to Toome on Thursday 26th

Coaching & Development meeting

On Monday 23rd April at 8 o’clock County games development manager Paul  o’ connor will address all team managers adult & juvenile, The juvenile committee and club committee members are also asked to attend this very important meeting.

 

Gaa president’s awards

In honour of his great achievement in winning this award there will be a presentation to Tommy Bates in the GAA centre on Friday 20th April at 9 o’clock. The President’s award is the highest honour which can be achieved for service to the GAA, So everyone is invited to attend to honour a true gentleman.
