Corduff Notes

April 10th, 2012

Our u6, u8, u10 training continued last Saturday morning with a great turnout. We are gearing up to our first go game outing.  If there is any other children out there who would like to join and have a bit of fun and activity you can attend Saturday morning at 10am-to11.15am.
Senior Fixtures: At time of going to press on Monday night Late, we are due to begin our league campaign against Inniskeen on Wednesday 11th at home at 7pm. Our game against Cremartin has been postponed this has been refixed for Wednesday 2nd.  Please do check as changes may occur to both these games. On Sunday 22nd we travel to Doohamlet for a 2pm throw in. Then on Saturday 28th we take on Donaghmoyne away at 7pm. The Cremartin game is not fixed for Wednesday 2nd May.

Reserve League: Last Saturday we welcomed Drumhowan to Corduff for a 6.30pm throw in. After a great team performance we ran out deserving winners on a scoreline Corduff 2-12 Drumhowan 0-08. On Wednesday 18th we take on neighbours Carrickmacross with a 7.15 throw in. Our next game is then not until the 16th May

 

Minor Football League: We opened our campaign last Tuesday night against Doohamlet at home. Next Tuesday 17th we travel to Blackhill for a 7.15 throw in.

 

Under 12 Fixtures:  This Saturday 14thApril we welcome Killeevan to Corduff. Then on the 28th of April we finish the league away to Rockcorry.

 

Under 14 Fixtures: Training continues as we prepare for our opening game away to Castleblayney on the 21st April. Then on the 5th May we welcome Killanny to Corduff.

 

Under 16: Tonight Thursday we start our league when we take on Eire Og away Training Continues as we prepare for our first game against Eire Og away.  Then on the 19th we welcome Blackhill to Corduff.

 

Deepest Sympathy: The Corduff Club would like to express its deepest sympathy to Peadar and Catherine Clinton and Family on the death of Anne Martin.

 

Well Done: To the Monaghan Minor Hurling team on capturing the Ulster league title on Sunday
