Minor League

Clontibret 0-8, Harps 2-7. We were beaten by the Harps last Tuesday in a game where we couldn’t pull back the concession of two goals. We played Scotstown on Tuesday gone by. Next Tuesday we are at home to ‘Blayney at 7.30pm.

U16 League

We play ‘Blayney this evening, Thursday at 7.15pm in Clontibret.

U14 Championship & League

We were beaten by a strong Emyvale team in the championship semi-final. This was a tough ask for the boys competing in Division 1 but credit to them for competing at this level. They followed this up with a much more spirited performance in the league at the weekend but in the end went down to a stronger Scotstown team. They fought determinedly and showed great character, despite missing a couple of players, one of whom was Darragh Hughes who was unlucky in the Emyvale game.

The Division 6 team also lost out narrowly to Clones in the league on Saturday despite competing well and giving a great account of themselves. The  next game for the Division 6 team will be against Truagh on Saturday, 5th May in Truagh, while the Division 1 team have to wait until 19th May for their next outing, again against Emyvale.

U12 League

We play Magheracloone this Saturday in Magheracloone at 12pm. This is followed by a home game against Aughnamullen on Tuesday at 7pm.

U10

U10 training takes place on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. All are welcome to come along. Well done to the Community Games u10 team who have now won their first three games of the year, most recently defeating Donagh in a great game. Well done boys, keep up the good work.

Under 8s & Nursery

Under 8s and u6 nursery continues on Friday evenings at 6:30pm sharp. All boys and girls welcome.

Hurling

Senior Reserve League

Clontibret 0-10  Casteblayney 1-14

A much improved effort against a sharper Castleblayney team. The score line may have been different if we had converted a few more of our well worked chances. A good all round performance none the less especially from young Paul Murphy.

Match this Thursday v Monaghan Harps 7.30pm (away) Players to be there for 6.30pm

Training continues Monday night 7.45 sharp

Minors

Clontibret 2-10 Emmet Gratans 5-09

Our minors were beat by a strong home team in Inniskeen. Good overall performance just a few things didn’t go our way on the day.

Training continues Wednesday
