Latton GFC Notes – Week Beginning 19th march 2012

 

* Lotto
On Sunday18th in Menas bar Ballybay numbers drawn were: 3-6-9-21.  Bonus No.26 No winner.€20 winners: Louise Mooney  Cabra, Lynda Smyth c/o Liam’s, Alan Mc Entee Latton, Roisha Traynor  Ballybay , Adrian Maguire Latton. This Weeks Jackpot: €16,700. Draw will take place in Joe Rice’s.

* Senior Football

The Reserve teams game at home to scotstown  last Sunday was called off due to the pitch been unplayable .The next reserve game is at home to Clontibret on Sun 1st April .

 Senior challenge

Latton play Cullaville this Sunday at 12 o’ clock in cullaville.

Committee Meeting

A meeting of the Executive Committee will take place tonight (Thursday) at 8.30pm Sharp.

U-12

Play their first game at home on Sat 24th against   Doohamlet at 12’o clock. Training on Tuesday evening’s at  6’ o clock sharp.

Club membership

Club membership Is now due, payment to Mickey Duffy as soon as possible

Juvenile presentation night

Our presentation night for U-12   U-14   U -16 is on tomorrow night Friday the 23th in the centre. With special guest Dublin all Ireland winning Captain Brian Cullen making the presentations it will be a night to remember for all the teams. So lets all get out and show our support for the stars of tomorrow. Kick off 7-30 sharp

U-10

Training will begin for all U-10 girls & boys on Sat morning the 31st March at 10 o’ clock.

U-8

A registrations morning will be held at centre on Sat morning the 31st March at 10 o’ clock. Followed by training in the field. Parents should bring a photo copy of the child’s birth cert. Children must be 6 years old on or before 1st Jan 2012.

U-16

Training is changed to Thursday evenings at 7 o’ clock.

Congratulations

On Friday night last at a banquet in Croke Park Latton legend Tommy Bates received the GAA Presidents award for his outstanding service to the GAA down through the years. Tommy served Latton with distension as player, manager, Chairman, grounds man and most other jobs that needed doing around the club. All in Latton GFC are very proud of your achievements. Well done.

 

 

Easter camp 2012

 

3 Day Easter Camp in Ballybay / Scotstown / Donaghmoyne, on 10th/11th/12th April from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Cost 40euro for 1st child and 35euro for additional children from same family.
