Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday 11th March. Numbers Drawn were: 13-16-17-19. Lucky Dip Winners: Patsy McKenna, Annyalla, Geraldine Boyd, Lisnagrieve, Pat and Mary McEneaney, Cremartin, Gerry Carragher, Moneyvolan and Brendan and Martin Kerr, Cashel. The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in the Social Club on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Membership
In compliance with direction from Croke Park Cremartin Shamrocks GAA Club requests membership fees are paid by 31st of March 2012. We are kindly requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline. It is imperative that all football players update their membership before the beginning of the season. Fees are Adults – €30, Juveniles – €15, Students – €15 and for a family (family = two adults and any children under 18) – €60.
Following a motion passed at the Convention 2012 – Please note that no tickets will be ordered for non members for any games this year so it of the upmost importance that membership is paid in time.

Shamrock Fun Run/Walk
Keep Free Saturday 14th April for our Shamrock Fun Run/Walk.  This promises to be a great family day out!  Run, jog or walk – the choice is yours!! Fancy Dress is optional but always fun.  More details soon!

Gaeltacht Scholarships
Interviews for Gaeltacht Scholarships will take place in the Enterprise Centre, Castleblayney on Saturday 21st April beginning at 10am.  These are half scholarships and are available for students in the 14 to 17 age bracket.  There is no need to book in advance, if you need further information email irishculturalofficer.monaghan@gaa.ie.

Children’s Disco/Cake Sale
Children’s Disco will take place tomorrow night, Friday 16th March in Cremartin Hall from 7-9pm.  The disco will be supervised and a shop will be open for hot foot, minerals and crisps.  Adm is €5. Family discount available.
Also a Bumper Cake Sale will take place upstairs in the hall from 7pm – 9pm with choclate cakes, sponges, pavlovas, and lots of other goodies on sale.  Tea and coffee will also be available. this is a great opportunity to relax over a cup of tea while the children are enjoying the disco or just catch up with neighbours and friends.

Annyalla N.S. presents “April Fools Mock Wedding”.

Rith
A massive thank you to everyone who represented the Club last Saturday in Rith 2012 in conjunction with Seachtain naGaeilge.  Thanks to the players and parents who came out on the day and thanks to Lisa Mulligan our Cultural Officer for organising a fantastic event which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.  Our Player’s Rep Martin McNally carried the baton with the secret message in Irish from our President Michael D. Higgins which is being carried throughout the country and will be revealed on St. Patrick’s Daly.  Buíochas a ghabháil leat gach duine go mór.

Gym Equipment

Sympathy
The Club would like to sympathise with Mary Tomany, and the Tomany and Kirk families, on the recent death of her brother Gerard Kirk of Blackstaff, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan.  The Club would like to sympathise with Frankie Mooney, Drumgriston on the death of his sister Kathleen Maguire who died recently.
The Club would like to sympathise with Terence McCaffrey, and the McCaffrey family, on the recent death of his aunt Ita McCaffrey Oriel House, Monaghan and formerly Carrickaderry, Clontibret and Latnakelly, Annyalla.
