Presentation Night:

The Club’s annual presentation night took place on Saturday in the Clubhouse. Our retiring cultural office, Maureen Gavan was presented with a gift in recognition of all the hard work she has invested in promoting the cultural elements of the GAA in the club down through the years. Newlyweds Francis and Maria Dolan were also presented with a gift as was John Connolly who topped the table of Lotto sellers. The biggest cheer of the night was reserved for Marty Fox who picked up the Player of the Year Award for 2011.

 

Registration Night: The club will be holding our final registration night on Saturday 24^th March in the Clubhouse between 5pm and 6pm. This will be your last chance to register as a member of the club for the year ahead. Players who are not registered will not be insured to play with the club. Those who have their registrations forms are asked to complete them and return them to the clubhouse with the fee at the earliest opportunity. . Social Member €10, Club member €20, Family membership €50.

 

Senior Training: Training continues on Fridays and Wednesday at 8pm.

 

Bullseye Tournament: There will be a Bullseye tournament in the Clubhouse this Friday night 16^th March. Everybody welcome.

 

Boogey in the Bog: There will be a meeting in the Clubhouse this Friday night, 16^th March at 9pm to set up the organising committee for this year’s Boogey in the Bog. Boogey in the Bog is due to take place on the 16^th June 2012 so make sure you keep this date free.

 

Thank You: The club would like to express our thanks to all the CE scheme workers who have helped out with a number of events in the club recently.
Field Ads: The rent for Field Ads is now due. Out treasurer will be in touch with people over the next few weeks.

 

Juveniles
U13 Blitz: Will take place in Cloghan on Friday 16^th March at 7pm and Thursday 22^nd March at 7pm.

Flag Day: The flag day was a great success last Saturday and the club would like to thank all those who helped out on the day. Special thanks to the juvenile players and their parents for participating in the collection and of course to all those who contributed and made the collection a success.
