Presentation Night: The clubs annual presentation night will take place this Saturday 10th March in the Clubhouse. This will include the presentation of our Player of the Year award. There will also be music provided so be sure to come along for what is sure to be a good night.

 

Senior Training: Training continues on Fridays and Wednesday at 8pm. We had a useful work out last Sunday morning away to Aghaloo.

 

Fixtures:

RFL Div 4: Truagh v Aghabog in Truagh on Sat 10^th March at 4:00pm.

The club season gets underway this Saturday as our reserve team travel to St Mellan’s to take on Truagh. Please come along and support.

 

Registration Night: will take place on Sunday 11th March in the Clubrooms at 8.30pm. Social Member €10, Club member €20, Family membership €50.
Field Ads: The rent for Field Ads is now due. Out treasurer will be in touch with people over the next few weeks.

 

Scor: Thanks to all who took part in Scor recently. Aghabog was well represented in the Novelty Act, Recitation, Solo Singing and Question Time. Unfortunately none of our acts made it through on the night despite putting in some great performances. Thanks also to all gave their time helping our acts.

 

Juveniles
U13 Blitz: Will take place in Cloghan on Friday 16^th March at 7pm and Thursday 22^nd March at 7pm.

Flag Day: The club is holding a flag day and street collection in Monaghan town this Saturday 10th March in aid of travel expenses to juvenile games. The event starts at 10am to 4.30pm and all help is welcome. Children must be 14 or over and accompanied by an adult. Groups of collectors will work in two hour shifts or less depending on the number of volunteers on the day. If you can spare an hour or two contact Eugene Byrne on 0879896159 or if you are in town come along and join in the fun. You will find us outside all of the big stores.
