Cultural Night:

Our Traditional Irish Music session takes place on the 2nd Friday of every month. Next session falls on 9th March. Singers & dancers are also very welcome. See you all there!

Co. Final, took place last Saturday. Despite an oustanding performance by Ciara Mc Entee in the Solo Singing category, that decision didn’t go our way. Peter Cullan, David Treanor & Stephen Hagan did us proud in the Quiz team, but again, don’t progress to the next round. A huge thank you to you all for representing our club & best wishes to all who have advanced to the Ulster Semi-Final.

Céile Dancing Classes are kicking off again, in the capable hands of Edel, Michelle & Paula. Classes will take place every Tuesday evening, starting on Tuesday 6th March, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Looking forward to seeing all the regulars, plus new comers alike!

Juveniles:

At this stage all juvenile teams are up and running. Players are requested to attend training at assigned times. For the next couple of weeks, players are requested to take both boots and runners with them for indoor and outdoor training.

Presentation Night:

An enjoyable night was had on Saturday night last. Several presentations were made on the night. Outgoing chairman Gerry Lynch was presented in recognition of over 40 years on the club executive, serving many different roles including the distinction of taking the hot seat of chairman on two separate occasions. Congratulations Gerry. Other presentations include the team management from last year of Gary Larkin, Colm Mc Mahon and Paul Lennon, outgoing PRO David Treanor. Newly weds, Darren and Michelle Mc Ardle, and John and Sandra Mc Connon. A special presentation was made to Noel Mc Elvaney for his horticultural expertise.

Membership:

Club membership is now due and payable to club registrar, Marie Mc Entee.

Bingo:

Bingo takes place every Monday night in the complex.

Bowls:

Bowls every Thursday night in complex at 8.30pm. New members of all ages welcome. Coaching and Bowls will be provided.

Totto:

There was no winner of last Monday night’s totto draw. The number sequence was as follows:4-3-6-5-1-8-7-2
