Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 1st March
Registration: Club registration is now due for all members and has to be paid before the end of March; this will cost €20 and can be paid to Anthony or Alice Mc Carron. Players please note Anthony and Alice Mc Carron will be at training this Friday night to collect this registration money.
All players home or abroad who intend to play this year please contact Anthony to pay you registration.
C Team: Begin their season under the management of Colm Mc Adam this Sunday at 2pm with a home game to Toome, All players encouraged to attend. The club would like to wish them all the best for the coming season.
Upcoming Fixtures: The Season kicks off very soon with 3 reserve games during March.

Scor: A truly great evening of entertainment was provided by all competitors who participated in the County Senior Scor Final on Saturday night last in Ardaghey. Emyvale had participants in seven out of eight sections and on the night were victorious in four namely Ceili Dancing, Set Dancing, Ballad Group and Novelty Act. We once again proved to be the Kingpins of the County when Kathleen O Brien accepted the Deirdre Rooney Cup for the Best Club Overall for the fifth year in a row. A huge congratulations to all who took part and we wish you all the very best of luck in the Ulster Semi Final on Saturday evening coming at 7.30pm in Stradone, Cavan. Many thanks to all those who travelled to support the acts – it means a lot to all of the competitors. Our thanks too to Gerard Mc Quaid and Mary Kirke for their unending patience and dedication when preparing those to compete at the very highest level and also to those unsung heroes who help with costumes, music, props and all other bits and pieces behind the scenes. Refereeing/Umpiring: Anyone interested in Refereeing/Umpiring in 2012 please contact John Finn on 0861727544.
Coaching Certificates: anyone interested in completing a Level 1 youth & adult coaching cert on the 2nd/3rd and 9th/10th of March or anyone interested in completing a Foundation course on the 23rd/24th of March, please contact coaching officer Niall McKenna ASAP.
U12 & U14: Continues on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7.00-8.00pm
U16: Training every Monday and Wednesday night from 8.00-9.00pm
Bingo: Thursday Nights in the Emyvale leisure centre at 9.00pm. Jackpot € 5,600 on 45 calls or less and Mini Jackpot € 500 on 51 calls or less €1900 Guaranteed. Bingo cleaning rota for February: Stephan Mc Aree and John Finn
