Dan Thompson Tournament.

Currin took part in this pre-season tournament last Sunday in Newbliss. Despite a shortage of numbers the intention to honour ‘Dan’, who was a good friend to our club down through the years, was fulfilled.

Membership.

Club membership is now due. Family and student membership is available. All membership must be paid up by the end of March.

Juvenile and Youth Affairs.

Training for the young players began last Saturday and will continue on the pitch. All players and parents are welcome and encouraged to come along. Contact Ciaran and Mary for details.

Cake Sale.

Last Sunday we had our first cake sale in a long while. It’s not certain who won the Battle of the Buns or indeed the War of the Tarts. More tasting is definitely needed to determine whose short crusts are superior, as all the evidence was bought and eaten. As the object of the exercise was to raise some money, thank you to everyone who contributed. Well done to all concerned.
