Training

Training for our seniors continues on the pitch on Friday night at 8.00 p.m. All players are to be at the dressing rooms by 7.45 p.m. at the latest.

County team news.

Monaghan had an excellent win over a fancied Kildare team on Sunday last in Clones. Our ladies were not so lucky after their long journey to Cork where they went down to the All Ireland champions.

Membership.

Club membership is now due. For 2012, membership fees will remain at €20 for an adult, €40 for a family (2 adults plus school children) and €10 for a student. Committee members will be in touch with all our outgoing members in the near future. All membership must be paid up by the end of March.

Juvenile and Youth Affairs.

Training for the young players will begin this Saturday 18th February on the pitch. All players and parents are welcome and encouraged to come along – no one will be turned away.

Cake Sale

A Cake Sale will be held after Mass on Sunday next 18th February. Please support.

SCOTSHOUSE;

Bingo: as usual on Tuesday evening at 9.00pm New members welcome in the Scotshouse Community Centre.

Dancing: Every Monday evening 9.00 to 11.00pm in the Scotshouse Community Centre.

Music: every Thursday at 7.30pm in the Scotshouse Community Centre.

Scotshouse Community Centre Presents:  “Caught on the Hop”  by The Sliabh Glah Dramatic Society on Friday 17th February 2012 at 8.30pm SHARP. Entry €10 or €5 for children.

Bunnoe & District Angling Club:  The Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday 21st February 2012 at 8.30pm in The Bunnoe Copmmunity Centre.

A Night at the Races:  Connons Annual Night at the Races takes place on Saturday 18th February at 9.00pm in McClave’s Pub Clones.  Refreshnments served.  Please come along and support.  This in aid of Connons Social Club.

Bowls:  Continues every Thursday in the Connons Cummunity Hall from 8.00 to 10.00pm (Admission Free) Bowls are available.

Badminton: Began on Monday 16th January in the Connons Community Centre from 8-10.0pm Cost €3 each.

Connons Racquetball and Handball Club:: Anyone interested in njoining these clubs can contact Peter McDwyer (Handball) on 086 3260603 and Noel Beggan(Racquetball) on 086 0770415.  An opening night is to be arranged at a later date so please keep an eye on further developments on this project in this section..  A Handball and Racquetball alley is already available for use at the Connons Community Centre.

Cake Sale: This will be in aid of Currin GFC Juveniles on Sunday 18th February after 10am Mass. Your support will be much appreciated.
