Carrick Emmets notes- 28th February
Carrick Emmets Presentation night will take place on Sunday 18th March in The Shirley Arms Hotel. Music is by Rubix. Tickets are €20 and are available from any committee member.
The club lotto takes place every Monday night in the Centre. We our inviting people to subscribe to our annual lotto ticket for the year. Forms are available from any committee member. Last weeks numbers were 4, 16, 19, 27. Andrew Callan 50e, Paddy Rafferty 20e, G & M Mohan 20e, Holly O’Reilly 10e. Jackpot €6,400 next week.
Farney Fun Run will take place on Sunday 11th March at 11.30am from Emmets grounds. It will be the same route as last year. Forms are available in Birdys newsagents.

Ulster Junior A Doubles Final
In a thrill a minute Ulster Junior A Doubles final played at Kingscourt on Friday night last, Monaghan’s team of Terry Kiernan and James Gavigan turned in a very fine performance to defeat the holders, Cavan’s Eddie Halligan and Paul Fitzpatrick by 18-21, 21-7, 21-15. Next up for Terry is the All Ireland Junior A Singles Semi-final when he plays Kieran Burke-Mayo at St. Mellans, Truagh on Saturday next.
