Doohamlet GFC Notes

Juvenile Fund Raiser: Well done to everybody who helped in any way with the Juvenile Table Quiz held in the hall on Sunday last.  This was a massive success with over thirty five families taking part.  Thanks again to everyone who donated spot prizes, Stephen Duffy our quiz master and Nudie Hughes and Colin Walshe who presented medals to our underage winners last year.

All proceeds from this event will go towards the running of our underage teams this season.

Club Meeting:   All club members don’t forget our monthly club meeting tonight Thursday Feb 2^nd at 8.30pm in the clubrooms.

Lorcan & Wayne Memorial Golf Challenge: Doohamlet GFC are currently organising a major Golf challenge to be held in July in memory of Lorcan and Wayne who we lost in 2008.  This competition will be run every year and will involve all the GAA Clubs in Monaghan.  Each club will be invited to enter a maximum of eight golfers or a minimum of four to represent their club and compete for the Lorcan and Wayne Cup.

This Golf Challenge will be held in Rossmore Golf club on Friday 13^th July and entry fee per club is 200 euro. (More details over the coming weeks)
