Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on Sunday 8th January.  Numbers Drawn were: 8-17-20-28.  Lucky Dip Winners: Roisin and Alannah Lavelle, Dunfelimy, Maire Ni Bhranagain, Drumgriston, Pauric Kerr, Cashel, Damien Lavelle Jnr, Dunfelimy and Damien and Catriona Woods, Lackagh.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next.  You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

AGM
Our Annual General Meeting was held last Sunday afternoon. In her Secretary‘s Report, aided with an very effective PowerPoint presentation, Majella Boyd reviewed one of the most historical years of the Cremartin Shamrock GAA club. Detailing on how the Cremartin club achieved the prestigious award of Club of the Year, Majella described events both on and off the field for 2011.  Also with the use of a detailed PowerPoint presentation, Gary Carville delivered an excellent Treasurer’s Report to Convention. Following Youth Officer Michael McGuigan’s outstanding youth report, Chairperson Brendan McNally summarised his term as Chairman.  Brendan individually thanked everyone involved in making 2011 such a fantastic year for our club and on our great achievements of Junior Double winners, Minor championship Winner, U16 league winners and the most coveted award in Monaghan GAA – Club of the Year 2011!

Awards Night/Dinner Dance
Cremartin GFC’s “Club of the Year” Awards Night/Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday 4th February next in the Glencarn Hotel.  Meal at 8.00 p.m. sharp and music on the night.  Presentations to the Double Winning Team, to the Minor Championship Winning Team, 2 x Hall of Fames and Players of the Year.  Tickets €25.00 and are on sale now in Malones shop and can also be purchased from any Committee Member.

Membership
In compliance with direction from Croke Park Cremartin Shamrocks GFC requests membership fees are paid by 31st of March 2012. We are kindly requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline. It is imperative that all football players update their membership before the beginning of the season. Fees are Adults – €30, Juveniles – €15, Students – €15 and for a family (family = two adults and any children under 18) – €60.
Following a motion passed at the Convention 2012 – Please note that no tickets will be ordered for non members for any games this year so it of the upmost importance that membership is paid in time.

Under 21 Shamrock Tournament
The 2012 Shamrock Cup U21 Tournament commences on Saturday 11th February 2012.  Fixtures are as follows:
Saturday 11th February 2012: Monaghan V Antrim and Tyrone V Meath.
Saturday 18th February 2012: Antrim V Tyrone and Meath V Monaghan.
Saturday 25th February 2012: Tyrone V Monaghan and Meath V Antrim.
Final – Saturday 10th March 2012.  Please give your support!
