County Championships.  After the Juvenile County Championships last weekend we will be having 6 players representing the club this weekend in the finals at St.Mellans.

Aaron Mohan is in the U13 Final, Gary Treanor(T) is in the U15 Final, Ryan Treanor(T) and Niall Rooney make it an all club U17 final and the U15 girls of Nicole Mc Carron and Shauna Mc Aree also make it an all club affair. Good luck to all players and all support would be much appreciated. We also had 4 players that made semi finals, Gary Mohan losing the U12 semi on an agonising 3rd game score line of 14-15 to Justas of the Harps was probably the most disappointing result we had, next year Gary, Ryan his brother lost the other U13 semi to Ryan Mooney also the Harps which would have made it an all club affair with Aaron and by all accounts should have won it, in the U14’s Gary Mc Kenna(D) lost to Conor Leonard of Tydavent and James Mc Kenna(S) lost the other semi to last years champion Martin Mullens11-15 9-15, boys your are all very close just keep at it. Also we would like to mention the U13 girls of Niamh Fullen and Lauren Treanor who only started handball this year and also took part in the championships. Well done to all players of all ages that took part its nice to win but taking part and having fun is the most important.
