Aughnamullen Notes

Lotto: The Lotto results for last Sunday were 4, 12, 14, 22. There was no winner. It now stands at 5,400 euro the lotto will return on Sunday the 15th of January. Lucky dip winners were Hugh F Mc Mahon, Joanna Robinson, Maureen Cambell, Niall Duffy, Aodhian Cambell, Fintan Boyle, Francais Courtney, Mary King, Frank Duffy and Kevina Hughes. Thanks to all those people who supported the lotto during the year special thanks to all the young sellers and their parents who sold the lotto tickets.

Happy Christmas: The club would like to wish all those at Home in the parish of Aughnamullen and also all those from the parish who have gone further a field to America, England or Australia a Happy Christmas and a very peacefull New Year in 2012.

Thanks: Thanks to Ollie our Chef and Mary Duffy and all the staff for the nice food that was served Saturday night at the Christmas party.

Congratulations: Congrats to Gerry and Imelda Boyle on the Birth of their baby girl recently well done.

Congratulations also to Susan and Gabriel Mc Cabe on the birth of their baby boy James.

Footballers: There was a players meeting held in the social centre friday night. A good attendence turned up good commitment was shown by everybody and there is hopes for a high next year.

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to the Duffy family Annaglave and to Martin Shevlin and his family on the death of Eddie Shevlin who died recently. Also sympathy is extended to the Duffy family Carrickatee on the death of Pat Duffy. Sympathy is also extended to the relations of the late Molly Duffy Ballybay who died recently. May they rest in peace and may God have mercy on their souls.
