Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 24th November
AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Emyvale GAA Club will take place on Friday the 2nd December 2011 at 8.30pm sharp in the Scarna Inn. NB: Please note change of venue to the Scarna Inn. The evening will begin with Mass for all Emyvale GAA members, past and present, at 7.30 in St. Patricks church Corracrin. Please wear club colours. Can all members who received nomination papers return them to Enda Clerkin ASAP.
Junior League Final: a big thank you to all club people who helped out at the Junior Final on Sun last and as the Season draws to a close; we would like thank all our volunteers and stewards who helped with the various games throughout the year. Go raibh mile maith agat.
Keep free: Juvenile Presentation night will take place over the next few weeks – as soon as a date becomes available…..
Monaghan GAA Football Coaching Conference: anyone who is interested in attending the Monaghan GAA Coaching Conference this Saturday the 26th in St. Macartans College, please contact the Coaching Officer Niall McKenna on 0860675661 ASAP. The conference objective is to provide quality information and innovative methods of delivery, for coaches working with players from 6 to 16 years of age. There will be a number of famous GAA people and coaches speaking on the day.
Keep Free: Juvenile Presentation night is provisionally booked for Friday 9th December. More details next week.
Club Shop: Will open December 10th and 17th December from 1 – 2.30pm for all those wishing to purchase some Emyvale Gear for that special Christmas Present.
NB Coaches: Anybody interested in managing/ getting involved with any Juvenile team please contact Raymond Kelly asap.
St Macartans Rannafast Cup Final: Hard luck to the Sem team and Dáithí Colton (and former Emyvale player Pascal Murphy) who were narrowly beaten by one point in a fantastic hard game of football in Tully on Friday night under lights.
