 We would like to congratulate John Scully who was elected chairman at our AGM on Friday night last and wish him and the incoming committee the very best for the year ahead.

HANDBALL

Juvenile handball continues on Thursdays at 5pm in the Emmet Centre. All boys and girls from age 7 welcome.

LADIES

The under 13 development resumes on Saturday with a match against Cavan, all players will be notified by txt. Well done to all mentors who are looking after these girls.

Carrick Ladies presentation night will be held in the Catholic Hall Carrickmacross on Saturday next 3^rd December at 7-30pm. All girls are asked to attend from senior down. We are a holding a Coffee morning and cake sale next Sunday 4^th December in the Catholic Hall after 10-30am and 12noon masses. All players and parents are asked to support this as it is a fundraiser to assist our teams for next year. As you are aware it is hard to get sponsorship in these economic times so we need your help. Come along, bring a friend, have a chat and a cuppa and maybe buy something nice. We ask all parents and older players to start baking and we will only too glad to sample your cakes.
