Scotstown Notes

Seniors: Two and a half weeks later and it is still hard to accept that we lost the county final. How did we lose a game we dominated so much.  Where do we go from here. Darren Hughes is off to Australia as part of the International Squad for the Compromise rules series. Well done this is a fitting reward for our leading player who has had a great year and we know he will aquit himself well on the international stage.

Res Div1; The semi-final of this competition takes place this Sunday in Scotstown when we play Castleblaney at 2 o clock. A chance for redemption for some of our county final panel. 

 

Complex Booking: The Sports Complex is now available for any type of events. The Gym is available for any sporting activity. It is important that you book the complex in advance or check that the facilities are available. Shop: Killmore shop is open on Wednesday  nights  from 6 to 7 pm. 

Fit For All: A keep fit class takes place for bothe ladies and men in Tydavnet Community Centre every Monday and Thursday night at 8pm. The class includes a wide variety of differant fitness techniques including circuits. the first class is free when you attend, give this a try and see how you can loose calories before Christmas,just 10 weeks to go.

 

Ladies

Senior League: Training continues every Tuesday at 7.30pm and Saturday mornings. The last league match against Aghabog has finally been fixed for this Saturday at 12.30 in Scotstown. It is important to get a full attendance as this will determine who we play in the League Final.

 

MR & MRS: Takes place this Saturday the 29th of October as the club house, kick off is at 8.30pm, this was an excellent nights entertainment back in early June, we have some witty couples lined up in Pauric Connolly and his Fiancé Paula, Mary and Sean Mc Quaid, Niall Maguire and his partner Susan, newly weds Declan and Donna Mc Carville and Massey and Evylnn Boylan, so come along and enjoy the crack.
