Doohamlet GFC Notes
School League: Congratulations to our school team who became division 4 champions when defeating Killeevan in the final last Saturday. Doohamlet were in a strong position at the break due to the scoring of five goals after having played against a strong wind. The platform for the victory was laid in defence thanks to the sound goalkeeping of Shane Leer and the ever alert play of backs Sean Markey and team captain Dermot Kelly. Matthew McKenna and Ackinwale David won the much needed possession at midfield while Osion O’Neill and Stefán Farrell were alway lively in attack. Rest of panel were: Osion Fee, Adam Crosby, Ryan Murphy, Dylan Shevlin, Graeme Burns, Daniel Connolly, Cillian Walshe, Dara Rudden, Jack Treanor, Liam Ingram, Joseph Ryan and Richard Farkas.
