Congratulations also to Drumgoon who won the Cavan Intermediate Championship : Result Drumgoon 0-11 Crosserlough 1-7.  Well done Aidan Quigley he has enjoyed his year involved with the winners.

Saturday 15th : last game of this years league against Eire Og Away Start 4.00pm
It is very important for the team to win these two games, so lets give them the support they deserve,they have been playing very well recently so we expect good results.

125 Celebrations: This year Currin celebrates their 125 years of unbroken affiliation to the GAA. Join us for our celebration Dance on Saturday 19th November in Kilmore Hotel Cavan. Some tickets still available from committee members..

SCOTSHOUSE

The next ICA guild meeting will be held on Wednesday 12th October at 8.30pm in the Community Centre.

Church of Ireland Harvest Festival will be on Sunday 9th October at 3.30pm. All are welcome.

Do this in Memory: Six children in the parish are preparing for their First Penance & First Holy Communion. This programme begins next Sunday at 10am Mass with a Rite of Enrolment and we are all asked to give a commitment to support these children during the coming weeks and months.

Social & Old Time Dancing: Classes continue in Scotshouse Community Centre between 9 & 11pm on Monday nights. Everybody welcome.

Do you have a couple of hours to spare?: If so St Mary’s Hospital Castleblayney & Oriel House Monaghan are looking for motivated people who would like to make a difference to our elderly residents. If you are interested please contact Trisha McDonald Volunteer Co-Ordinator on 0429740014.

Athletics Notes: Training for Cross-country will be on Tuesday and Friday at 6.30pm. New members over 9 are always welcome to come along and train.
