Tyholland Notes

Slotto: Numbers drawn are 9, 12, 16 and 24. Lucky dip winners are Alex Senan, C.Nevin, Laura McGlynn and Eithne McStravog. Well done to you all. This weekends jackpot is €13,200.

Championship: All roads lead to Aughnamullen this weekend for our Championship semi final clash against Carrickmacross, throw in 5.30pm. Being our biggest game so far this season, the lads will need all the support we can offer to help them reach the final! Good luck to players and management.

Fixtures: U16 Championship semi final, St. Macartans V’s Aughnamullen, Thursday 8th Sept at 6.30pm. Check match fixtures for pitch.

Results: Seniors lost to Rockcorry on Sunday morning last , 1-15 to 1-8 and Corduff on Wednesday evening. Reserves lost out to Doohamlet on Friday evening, Tyholland 1-7 Doohamlet 2-8.

Juveniles: Congratulations to the U12 team and management on winning the league final on Saturday against Clones. A promising future ahead for Tyholland football.

Ladies: U14s are out on Friday evening 9th Sept in the 2nd round of the championship. We play away to Doohamlet at 6.30pm. U12s are out Saturday morning 10th in the league semi final away to latton at 12.30pm.

Monaghan Ladies: Congratulations to Una, Therese and Grainne McNally and the Monaghan Ladies team on a convincing yet exciting win over Kerry on Saturday in the All-Ireland semi final. We wish them all the best in the All-Ireland Final against Cork on Saturday 25th September in Croke Park . No doubt you will all be there on the big day to support them and show the men how it’s done!! Also, a big congratulation goes out to Therese on receiving Ulster Player of the Year for 2011.

Irish Dancing: Dancing has now resumed on Wednesday evenings from 6 – 7.30pm in the community centre. All new comers welcome.
