Sean Mac Diarmada Notes 22-9-11

Fixtures:

Sat 24th Sept IFL Tyholland V Seans @5:00pm

Sat 24th Sept U-14 Semi-Final. Seans (home) V Scotstown @12 noon.

U-14’s:

Best of luck to our under 14’s who take on Scotstown at headquarters on Saturday @ 12 noon. At this stage they have played 12 league games stretching back to the 12th March. A lot of effort has gone in by the players and mentors with bi weekly training sessions along with numerous challenge matches. Hopefully as many people as possible will see fit to support them on Saturday for their quest for glory.

Under 12’s

A word of thanks to those parents who helped in any way in the running of our U-12 team, many parents have expressed their gratitude in how Stephen, Bernard and co helped these young players develop throughout the year. At times these young players may not have been getting the results on the field but their hard work on the training field ensured they performed at the business end of the season and ultimately made the final only to be pipped by  Castleblayney. On behalf of the club we appreciate the positive support of parents, especially as the mentors of all our teams are from under 8 to adult level are doing this on a voluntary basis.

Intermediate League:

We travel to Tyholland on Saturday in search of two valuable points to have any hope of making the top four of the Intermediate League. Throw in time is 5:00 pm.
