Under 12’s

The U-12’s put in a great performance to defeat Clontibret in the shield semi final on Tuesday last. Every player tackled as if their lives depended on it. When in possession of the ball they played some lovely football getting great scores from all areas of the field. They now play Castleblayney in the final on Sat 3rd of September. All the players on the panel had a great day out last Sunday when they travelled to Croke Park for the All Ireland semi final. They really enjoyed the terrific atmosphere of a packed Croker. Many thanks to the parents who travelled and supervised on the day.

U-12 Final:

Our under 12’s play in the league final on Saturday in Aughnamullen @ 12:15pm against Castleblayney. These youngsters have put in a huge effort all year and are starting to reap the benefits when it counts. Hopefully as many parents and club supporters as possible will see fit to be there on Saturday to cheer them to victory.

Intermediate League:

Last Wednesday evening we drew with Currin in the league at home. This was a very entertaining game of football which was blighted by very poor refereeing. Our next outing is against Corduff at home on Sunday morning @ 12:30pm. Although not fully securing our intermediate status for 2012 yet, this is a must win to give ourselves a good chance of securing a semi-final place later in the season.

Jubilee Celebrations:
