Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 18th August

Junior Championship Semi Final: The Semi final took place last Sunday and unfortunately it didn’t go for us on the day.  Final Score: Emyvale 1-08 Clones 1-09.

Best of Luck: To our senior scor dance team who are competing in the all Ireland Fleadh in Cavan this weekend.

Club Race Night: The Club will be running fundraising event in the form of a race night which will be held on Friday 16th September in Red Boys.

Monaghan OFFICIAL Year Book 2011: Monaghan County Board are publishing their own OFFICIAL Year Book in December 2011.We are asking all local business if approached to ensure that they are taking an advert in the OFFICIAL Year Book.

Please contact local club officers to verify that you are supporting the OFFICIAL Year Book.

Field Bookings: any coaches/managers or club officials that would like to book our playing fields for games MUST place their bookings with either Geraldine Mohan or Mary McCaffrey(0877429651).

U-16 League Division 1 Semi – Final: Our U-16 Panel are contesting the League Division 1 Semi final tonight Thursday at home @ 7.00.  We wish this group of lads the best of luck and hopefully they can reach the final.  The committee would urge as many parents and club members as possible to come out and support these lads.

Important message to Parents: Juvenile Committee members handed out Club Code of Conducts during the week.  Many Parents have handed them back (thank you).  We would appreciate if all others would hand them back in as soon as possible signed by parent and child.  If you did not receive a form contact any club member at training.

U-8’s: Go games are in Truagh this Saturday.

U-10’s: Got to the final of the John Treanor Cup held in St Mellans and gave a fabulous display.  Well done to this group of players and mentors.

U-14: Beat Scotstown last week and earned themselves a play off which will played this week.  More on this next week.
