Hard Luck: To our ladies team who lost out narrowly to Monaghan Harps in the final of the Intermediate Championship last Wednesday night.

Well Done: To our club referee Kieran Mulligan who did an excellent job in the Junior Championship Final last weekend. Good to see that at least one Aghabog man was involved in this years final!

Seniors: Hard luck to the seniors who were beaten by Monaghan Harps in the final of the Intermediate Championship last Wednesday 2.9 to
13points. This was a game which was there for the taking but unfortunately we never recovered after the Harps converted a penalty
deep into the second half. This is a young side with great potential so hopefully they will stick together and go on to achieve greater
things in 2012.

Good Luck to the County team, especially our own representatives Ellenand Laura, who take on Kerry in the All Ireland semi-final this
Saturday at 5pm in Birr.

Congratulations to Cathriona Brady and the New York team who defeatedCarlow last weekend and now play Wexford in the semi-final of the
Junior Championship in Birr at 1pm.

Over 35s:

Truagh GFC have invited the Aghabog club down to defend the over 35 title which we won last year. Anybody interested in taking part should contact Declan Smith (087 9769400) or Joey Kelly (087 6254533) before Friday night as we need to let Truagh know if we are taking part.
