Corduff notes

Cul Camp: Time is almost here next Monday Corduff will be hosting the Monaghan GAA Cul Camp running from the 11^th to the 15^th July. This camp caters for 5 to 13 year olds and covers football, hurling and Camogie. Costs start from €50. Good Luck: To monaghan senior ladies panel this Sunday against Tyrone in the Ulster Final and especially Corduff’s contingent

Intermediate Football League : Last Friday night we were defeated by Carrickmacross on a score line of Corduff 1-08 Carrick 3-10.

Reserve Football League: Last Wednesday we took on Ballybay. Ballybay got off the mark first Before Brendan Mc Nally converted a free to get Corduff on the score board. Brendan quikely followed this up with another point before Ballybay scored 2 unanswered points. Corduff rallied with some brilliant displays we went on to register 1-04 without reply. The goal coming from Jason hand leaving the score Corduff 1-06 Ballybay 0-03 with 23 minutes gone. Ballybay pulled back a point but Corduff finished the scoring for the half with points from Thomas Mee and Jason Hand. This left the half time score Corduff 1-08 Ballybay 0-04. Corduff opened the scoring on the restart, but then Ballybay staged a comeback Scoring 1-03 despite the brilliant tackling from Corduff Backs this left the margin reduced to two with 5 minutes left on a score line Corduff 1-09 Ballybay 1-07. In the 28^th minute after good play Corduff responded with a point in the 28^th minute. The closing stages were close and very entertaining football Corduff ran out winners by the slimmest of margins on a score line Corduff 1-10 Ballybay 1-09

Ulster Final Tickets: Members can order Ulster Final tickets from the club for the Derry Verses Donegal Ulster Final 2011. This is an all Ticket game. Admission Charges as follows:

Hill & O’Duffy Terrace Adult: €15. Hill & O’Duffy Terrace Student & OAP: €10. Tickets can be ordered with Eileen Keenan on 0871375735 before 10pm tonight Thursday orders cannot be accepted after that time. When ordering tickets please state name and amount of which type and when ordering Family tickets please state number of adults and number of children.

Intermediate League Fixtures: This Saturday July 9^th we make the long journey to Currin for a 7pm throw in. Then on Wednesday 20^th we travel to Eire Og for a 7.45 throw in. To end the month we travel to Tyholland on the 27^th also for a 7.45 throw in.

Under 8/10: Check with management for time of trainings.

Under 12’s: This Saturday the 9^th we take on neighbours Aughnamullen at home with a 12 noon throw in. Training continues as normal.

Under 14: Our next game is on Saturday 16^th July when we welcome Cremartin to Corduff

Gerry Fruit and Veg Under 16: Last Thursdays night game against Toome was cancelled. Tonight Thursday we welcome Doohamlet to Corduff.

Minor Football Championship: On July 19^th we take on Cremartin in the Championship. This is a home game for Corduff with a 7.45 throw in please come along and support.

GRM Minor Football League: Last Tuesday night we took on Cremartin, Our next league game is on Tuesday 28^th at home to Blackhill.
