Lotto Result. The numbers drawn in the Lotto for the week ending 13th May were 3, 14, 24 and 25. The Jackpot of 7,000 euro was not won. The Lucky Dip winners were Rachel Brennan, Corduff, Henry Hughes, Carrickmacross, Nicole Kindlon, Coolderry and Sean and Kathleen Dermody, Magheracloone.
The Jackpot next week will be 7,100 euro.
Senior Team. The senior league continued with three games over the past eight days. After away victories over Castleblayney and Truagh in the past week, the senior team hosted Scotstown yesterday evening (Wednesday) in the hope of making it three victories out of three in the recent series of games. The run of victories ensures that the team maintain their top four position as the second stage of the league gets into its stride.
After this Wednesday’s game the senior league takes a break and it is the turn of the Reserve team to feature in the coming weeks. On Sunday, Scotstown will be the visitors for a league game while the O’Duffy Cup continues on Wednesday with a home game versus Drumhowan. This Round Two game will throw in at 7.30.p.m.
On Wednesday 29th the Reserve team will travel to Monaghan Harps for another league match with the throw-in timed for 8.00 p.m.
Juvenile News. As the exam season comes to an end the juvenile scene will become busier in the coming weeks. The U-16 team return to action with a visit to Seans on Thursday, 23rd with a throw-in time of 7.00 p.m.
On Saturday, 25th, the U-14 team will host Castleblayney with a 12.00 noon throw-in.
In the meantime, the U-8’s, U-10’s and U-12’s are continuing with their football training and their mentors are laying the ground work for the teams of the future.
Cul Camps. Magheracloone will host the annual Cul Camp from July 25th to July 29th in the local grounds. This excellent camp is open to boys and girls from ages 5 to 13.
