Well done to our senior team who had a 1 point win over Sean McDermotts in the championship on Sunday evening last in a very wet Clontibret.  Final score Seans 1-07 Carrick 0-11

 

U10S

Our club hosted an inter county blitz on Saturday last when teams from Cavan, Meath and Armagh came to play the Carrick U10s. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all and the club would like to thank all the helpers on the day who made it a great success.  Many thanks to the parents of the U10s who provided the catering on the day.

LADIES

Carrick under 14 girls travelled to Scotstown on Wednesday last to take on the home team in the league. The girls played well on the night and gave it everything but lost out in the end. Since our first game these girls have come on great and are lovely to work with. We travel to Emyvale this week and hope that we get the same commitment from them.

 

The under 12 league has started this week but we have a bye so we don’t play until next week. The girls are training well and hope they will be ready.

 

The under 16 league is taking a break at the minute because of exams. We have two games left to play and hope we can get into a semi-final.

 

The ladies club would like to say hard luck to the girls of Scoil Rois who lost in the final of Cumann Ná mBun Scoil on Friday last. Well done girls on getting there and keep up the good work at your club.

 

We have socks and shorts on sale for anyone who has none or new players who have come in. Contact any of the mentors and they will sort you out.

 

Training continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays for everyone and we hope exams go well and you all get back to playing football.

 

Monaghan senior ladies play Down in the Gaelic Grounds Armagh on Saturday next at 7-30pm in the second round of the Ulster Championship. Please give them your support.
