Boogey in the Bog: A night to remember. (apparently). This was a magnificent success and the club would like to thank everyone who made it possible. It is only right to pay tribute to the committee and the ticket sellers who left no stone unturned in carrying out their duties to ensure the night went well. However, the biggest thank you must go to everybody who bought a ticket, particularly those from the neighbouring clubs and parishes. The sight of ticket sellers is rarely a welcome one, in that respect Aghabog GFC really appreciates all the support received for this important event for our club. Go raibh mile maith agat go leir.

 

Results:

JFL: We suffered two disappointing defeats in the past week. On Wednesday last we went down away to Cremartin on a scoreline of Cremartin 1-13 Aghabog 1-10 while on Saturday evening we made the journey up to Toome and suffered a very heavy defeat at the hands of our opponents. Final score Toome 3-12 Aghabog 1-06.

 

Fixtures:

JFC: Aghabog v Clones tomorrow Friday 24^th at 7:45pm in Scotstown. Hopefully we can leave our dodgy league form aside for this encounter.

Good luck: To the county team who are out in the first round of the qualifiers on Saturday evening in Tullamore in what is likely to be an offaly tight game.
