Seniors: Our next senior game is away to Latton next Wednesday, 8th June, at 8pm.

Reserve Div. 1 (B’s): We beat Castleblayney last Sunday 1-16 to 0-06. We were due to play Scotstown in the championship last night, Wednesday.

Reserve Div. 3 (C’s): We lost to Seans in the league last Wednesday night, 0-7 to 1-9 before recording an impressive championship win over Toome on Friday last 1-9 to 1-5. We play the next round of the championship this Friday at 7.30pm away to Clones.

Hard Luck: to Adam Treanor (unused sub) Padraig McKenna and Christopher McKenna (both injured) on their county minor defeat to Tyrone last weekend.

Ulster Championship Admission: The Monaghan Tyrone senior championship match on Sunday 5th June is not all ticket. Cash entry at the stiles are EUR15, senior citizen/student EUR10 and children under 16 is free entry. This match is not being shown live on tv. Good luck to Daniel McKenna who is on the panel for this game.

Lotto Jackpot now €3,400: There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The lucky numbers were 5, 6, 10, 24. There was match 3 winner, Joanne Meehan receiving €200. The jackpot now stands at €3,400. Next weeks check team: Josie’s team.

U-8 and U-10s: play Emyvale in St. Mellans this Thursday, 2nd June at 7pm.

U-12s: beat Fergal O’Hanlons in the final of the first league 0-14 to 0-7. The next league starts 11th June. More details next week. Training
continues as per management.

U-14s: play away to Magheracloone on Thursday 9th June at 7.00pm. Bus leaves St. Mellans at 5.45pm. Training continues as per managment.

Camogie:

Seniors: Training continues tomorrow at 7.30pm and on Monday at 7.30pm. Attendance at training needs to improve, could everyone please make the effort to attend.

Juveniles: Juvenile training on Saturday at 11am. New players are very welcome. Gillian, Sharon and Mairead are on duty this week.


Lucky Square: Congratulations to Emma Meehan who was last weeks winner of the lucky square. All numbers for the lucky square have now been taken. Thank you to all who support.

Clothes Collection: There will be another clothes collection in St. Mellans on Saturday 4th of June at 11am. This is a great way to get rid of that clutter, old clothes, shoes, bed linen and curtains which can all be donated. Bags can be left in the tunnel at the turnstiles.

Ladies Football:

U-12’s: League games start on Saturday 18th June. Parents are asked to come along and show this group of girls support.

U-14’s : Next game at home v’s Tyholland this Monday 6th June at 6.45pm.

U-16’s: Has has been put on hold due to exams. Next game is at home on Monday 11th July

Senior A’s: Championship game Sunday 26th June at home to Donaghmoyne.

Senior B’s: Championship Dates to be confirmed. League games still to be played.

Congratulations: To Emily, Ellen and the U-13 choir who won gold at the All-Ireland Community Games over the weekend. Great achievment and well done to all concerned.

Registration: Needs to be paid before Saturday.

Commitee Meeting: Tonight Thursday 2nd June at 9pm sharp in St.Mellans.

Handball:

Hard Luck: to Kevin Treanor and Patrick McKenna who lost in the Nov. 3 doubles county final in a near 2 hour battle. Having lost the first game 19-21 they levelled with the second, 21-10 before losing in the tie-breaker 18-21.

Club Doubles: are now reaching the closing stages. In Division 1, Darren O’Reilly and Conor McGinnity take on Kevin Treanor and Padraig Mc Kenna, while in Division 2 Patrick Mc Kenna and Brian Mc Kenna (O) play Richard O’Reilly and Declan McKenna. Times of both finals will be notified by text.

Division 2 Singles: is still also outstanding with Fergal O Neill to play David O’Reilly. Hopefully all 3 finals will be concluded soon.

County Presentation: Don’t forget presentation in Scotstown Complex on the 10th of June. All County Winners must attend. Please keep free this date.

Summer play: Any seniors or juveniles wanting to keep practising can do so as natural light will provide plenty of free lighting for the next few months. It is a great way of getting some free enjoyment and valuable exercise.

Hurling:

Seniors: Training continues next Tuesday at 8pm. Check with website for fixtures.

U-14s: Training Monday and Wednesday at 6.30pm.

Juveniles: Training Wednesday evening at 6.30pm for all juveniles aged 12 and under.
